Site description:
The council is progressing plans to create a well-designed, integrated interchange and tourist information facilities, including an attractive retail offer, ticketing and passenger facilities and improved links to the esplanade and town centre through improved wayfinding and public realm.
This project will act as a powerful catalyst for the development of the esplanade and the surrounding areas.
Esplanade area has a big potential to create high-quality public realm and attractive retail/commercial, community and tourism amenities, taking advantage of the picturesque setting of the shoreline.
