Digital Island Conference 2018

Isle of Wight Annual Digital Island Conference

Cowes Yacht Haven: Thursday 15 November

In conjunction with Barclays Eagle Labs: Ai Frenzy and Isle of Wight Digital Disrupt

The second Isle of Wight Digital Island conference was held on Thursday 15th November 2018.

The event had a focus on the significance of the development of Artificial Intelligence – AI in every aspect of our lives.

Barclays Eagle Labs ran an “Ai frenzy” event during the day focusing on the business benefits of AI. Partners, such as IBM, involved in considering the potential health and social care benefits of AI featured.

This presents an important opportunity to take stock on the Isle of Wight Council’s progress in taking forward our digital ambitions developed at the inaugural event one year ago and hear from leading industry contacts, on and off the island, about latest developments.

The conference programme is structured to provide maximum possible time and space for networking , including an evening ‘Digital Disrupt’ session for those only able to make it after hours.

The Digital Disrupt evening session was run seperately by the Isle of Wight Digital Disrupt Group – visit the Digital Disrupt website to find out more.
